layer 1, fibers
layer 2 clouds; difference clouds several times blended with fibers below
layer three merged layer 1 & 2, inverted and used angled brush strokes
layer four, copied layer three and used plastic wrap
layer five, merged all and began using polar coordinates (applied several times)
layer six was a gradient map just to see what would happen. I liked it so much I left it even though it negated some of the funky colors that were going on in the original.
