My first post, not sure I'm doing this right?
First I copied the left side of the face and transformed it on the right. Used air brush and blur to get the colors where I wanted. Last added canvas texture to background.

Hi skmcb,
Good first go!
One minor criticism I would make is that it is fairly apparent you have mirrored his face over to the left hand side. A lot of people don't realise that no matter how symetical a face looks, it is very rare for a face to be completely symetrical, and subconsciously we do see the difference. I like your background, and you've made a good attempt with the colouring of the jacket.

Your coloring is nice and I like your background. You might think about putting background texture on the whole picture so that it is more finished all over.

Hi,
Thank you both for the advice. Will give it another go and see what I come up with. I'm still not quite happy with the look of the face. A work in progress. Thanks again.
