Firstly I opened the channels palette and raised the brightness of both the red and green channels which were very dark. I then adjusted each channel individually using levels. After that I made a further brightness contrast adjustment. In trying to improve the focus of this image, shifting of the channels did not fix nor re-align the colours properly so I created a new layer which I desaturated and then ran the highpass filter over this layer to give me greater detail of the edges. I then underlaid this greyscale layer under the image and dropped the images opacity back to around 75%.
