Looking at this image it looks as if it was never intended to have sharp contrasts or tones so I have deliberately kept the picture soft. Most of the restoration was cloning, blurring, smudging, adding a little noise and a tad of colouring for the jumper

Definitely retains that old photo look, (and Grandma looks like Grandma). Nice restore work on the damaged areas, and the repaired original bg looks great.

I like it! Sometimes when we restore these old photos they loose that "antique" look that makes them so special to begin with. You brought back all the missing detail without over doing it. (Just like my old Fine Art professor used to say, "Sometimes less is more!"
