Excellent work Steve,
I like the colors and your choice of background.
You have colored and kept an aged look to the photo.
I think that enhances the restoration. It looks great.
There is not much detail to work with in the black hair.
Good idea to lighten it a bit and add a few highlights.
I am at the coloring stage with my version.
At this very moment England is thrashing Australia in the cricket.
I am so upset I can barely hold the mouse.

Hi Matt
First and foremost, I'm so sorry about the cricket.
It's about time you had a tablet & pen!!!
Thanks for the comments.
I cant wait to see your restore.
I know it will be superb as usual.
Cheers
Steve

Steve - I have had a Wacom for over a year now.
It is living in its box on the top draw of my wardrobe.
I am punishing it for not turning me into an instant Michaellangelo
Your looking forward to my restore Steve?
Better put on your dark glasses first.
Matt

Steve --
You have great color tones and depth in this one. Her face looks lovely.

Lorraine:
Thank you for your kind comments.
I'm wondering if tones and depth maybe a polite way of pointing out that huge black blob under her chin.
Everytime I look at it now it sticks out like a sore thumb!
Maybe MKll on the way
Cheers
Steve

Not at all, Steve.
I thought that her face really her came out of the background and was the focus. Usually when I comment it's on my first take. And I really liked the way her face stoood out in this.

I like this edit a lot.
It looks painted but true to life.
Good catch on making the Bindi red. I missed that in my edit.
