Writing a description for this would be as hard as the restoration was.

Lots of layering of parts, lots of searching for the uniform, lots of art work, lots of just looking for details.

Superb colorization Maigo.
It’s been a long time since I’ve seen your work.
It’s a shame wonderful old photos like this don’t come up more often.

The man’s uniform looks great.
You put in some meticulous work on the paintings. It shows.
This restoration has a 3d look to it.
The strong colors in the uniform, dress and chair on the smooth background make the couple stand out.
