I used the CS2 lens blur filter with an alpha channel as a map. Painted light gray-to-black gradient then painted the candle holder white, sampled a tone from the tablecloth near the middle angel, painted her that color, ditto with the plant. As a recovering photographer, I'd say it's fairly realistic. More than G.B., anyway.
