fun challenge. I have been so busy at work I haven't had time to do one in a long time.
First I corrected the color which I felt was a little blue.
then with the healing brush I removed a few tiny marks. using a soft light layer I lightened underneath her eyes and darkened above to emphasis the shadow. I used a levels layer to increase the shadows on the right side for more drama. Lightened her hair. added lashes whitened the eyes, made eyes a little bluer and brought up the catch lights darkened the pupil and lashes. Added highlights to hair. Used lighting filter omni to emphasize even more the directional lighting. softened skin using Photokits softening brushes. I think that's it. Beautiful face, reminds me of a dear friend.

i really like what you have done with her. but what i would of done was to use a bit of liquify to make her cheeks a bit slimer then sharpen her eyes and lips.
did you put new eye lashes on the bottom of her eye because it looks like you have not and i think they could do with them.
still very nice job!!

This is my favorite retouch of this image, it's absolutely beautiful. I would not touch the shape of her face at all, it's perfect (and completely geniune) just the way it is.
