The object in the center foreground is composed of an image of a Howitzer barrel repeated 4 times and distorted using the Polar Coordinates filter. I overlaid the image with a copper hue and placed a "flame" in the background. The flame was a gradient warped by hand using the liquify filter.
I like this. The shapes on the left remind me of geese for some reason.I like the lettering also.

Thanks David! I had the same feeling about the shapes on the left.

The shapes are truly brilliant, nice work. Top text awesome as well. The bottom text although fine troubles me like maybe it should be lower and to the right. White may not be the strongest either, maybe a lower opacity, drop shadow or sometimes I use a rough brush around the letters to add a noisy look. All-in-all though, one of my favorites.
Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs. I am haunted by waters. Norman Maclean – A River Runs Through It
