this is my granddaughter who tho there are no fairies in the picture, there obviously been one there and it seems she caught some of the fairy dusy.
and this method I accidently discovered
duplicated the background
and used find edges (solid type)
use the divide merge mode
and voila!! fairy dust.

Opps... used Corel photo paint 9... tho i suspect this will work with other programs
