I noticed in the original there was a little colour (hand coloured?) so I coloured mine after restoring it.

1. Added Channel mixer to turn to greyscale
2. Added levels adjustment layer and adjusted levels
3. Made a merged copy on a new layer
4. Changed blending mode of this new layer to Darken
5. Ran Dust & Scratches on this layer until the white spots disappeared and because the layer was set to Darken I found it didn't blur the picture just removed the spots.
6. Used clone and healing tools on a new layer for other marks
7. Used solid colour adjustment layers to colour the photograph. I didn't colour the legs because I thought they looked better as white tights.
8. Sharpened with a High Pass layer.

The original looks like it was handcolored. Not much left of it though lol. Skintones are very realistic and I like the white tights. I never thought of that myself, mainly I was concentrating on the socks lol. All in all, excellent job. I'm impressed.

This is QUITE nice. Considering the shape of the original I'd say you get all ten stars for this effort. Also, you did a great job at retaining detail in this image.

Now, cut it out... You're making the rest of us look bad.
