Sorry had to remove the colours.
The forehead and nose were the hardest.
On a new layer made a rough selection, around damaged area of the forehead, gave it a fairly large feathering, filled with a gradient, added noise for texture, blended into background with levels, plus some local dodging and burning..
The rest was mainly clone, heal and noise removal with a slight sharpening near the end. Then add a sepia tone to finish.

I did take the easy way out, but as the colours looked mostly false I thought - Why Not?
