A Whole lot of cloning!!(referencing detail from original)
Its difficult to restore this one, without making it too 'painterly'.
Replaced background, and parts of hair by overlaying new hair with an effect layer... 'lighten' if i recall correctly...

I was working for a restoration company (Photowonder), until they made me redundant :*( A friend put me on to this site to satisfy my restoration needs hehe

Very nicely done Ninety9.
Is this the same standard as you would have done for Photowonder?

Have you seen this thread?

hheh you must have been really bored to attempt this one !

This is an image befitting your name 99. Because thats what I would have done with it.

While I dont have a right to comment as I havent even attempted it myself, I would say the right side of her teeth still looks marked slightly. I love the detail you have put into the hair, but i think the edge is a touch sharp, and there is a bit of a halo around the top of her hair. heheh. But really overall its a vnice job. !

Great work Ninety9,
The dress looks terrific and your skin tones are great.

I wonder what restorers are paid in India and China.
10 cents an hour? I'd only have made 50 cents on this one.

Very good work Ninety9.

You've definitely captured the original look of her face. I could see it, but couldn't realistically recreate it.

Have to agree with sipolandis 'best of the lot'. Every square inch got quality attention and her 'look' is definately there. The only thing I can see that might be a little off is the shape of the face (forehead a bit broad, chin/jaw a little rounded). Excellent work.
