Just lots of cloning, healing, color adjusting with selective color...... just painted over missing areas by making new layers with my brush set to overlay and 14% opacity then blurred color layer and lowered opacity of it..... changed to Lab color, selected the lightness channel then went to Filter>Sharpen>Unsharp Mask and used 20%, 60 Radius and 4 Threshold..... then reset my color mode by Image>Mode>RGB..... used Burn tool set to Midtones at 10% opacity and darkened edges..... I think that's about it...

I'm a little late here but I want to tell you I think you did a fantastic job on this picture.
Also am touched by your note on flat Stanley. I've never heard of it before and wonder if anyone still does it. What a wonderful thing to do. How exciting to the kids when they get them back. A fun way to learn many things. Bless you for your kindness.

Awww... thanks, another nice thing we'd do as flight crews is save the untouched, extra sandwiches on trips to Peru and give them to the beautiful, hungry, children waiting for us at the airport very late at night...they'd usually be all dressed up in their best clothes.... After all the wild things you hear about flight crews, I wanted to tell some good things.... thanks for the opportunity! oxoxo, Beth
