I really didn't like my results. About 2 hours. Lots of clone tool, some dodging and burning. For me, the trick is to correct the photo enough to be acceptable, but to not give it the "hand-painted" look. This one is hard.

Hi sipolandis........ every time I look in this gallery, I'm drawn to your restoration but I'm usually in a hurry and put off writing...... but not this time.

Your restoration is beautiful..... it is very well done and you've preserved the feeling of the photo, too. I do like your restoration and bet his granddaughter does, too.
