ChristineV Junior Member Registered: September 2006 Location: Toronto, Canada users gallery	I liked this photo and thought I would give it a try. Here are the steps I took: Adjusted levels, Desaturated, Clone, burn, dodge. Manually adjusted levels and curves. Duplicated layer and colored in. Cloned left arm for right arm. Duplicated color layer again and applied gaussian blur. Adjusted level to bring out darker edges. Applied layer on top of B&W layer using Lighten at 75%. Merged both layers.

Great work on this very difficult photo Christine,
It was so blurred and gritty.
I like the muted colors and the way
you have repaired the blown out areas.

Very nicely done. The colouring looks natural and original.
Hard to improve on this one.
