Well I didn't do anything that really warrants special mention. Just the usual: set the white balance, used curves to match the part of the picture that was previously behind the frame with the part that wasn't. I duplicated the image and converted the image Lab. I then dragged the Luminosity channel back to the original. Now this might be of interest, because I mistakenly dragged the b channel instead of the Luminosity channel. Having realised my mistake I didn't immediately discard it but instead played around with the Blend Modes and found that Linear Light produced a really nice effect and got rid of a lot of the fuzziness in the Luminosity. I turned down the Opacity on that layer and later blended back in parts of the L Channel from Lab. The rest was coloring and cloning.
