First I painted over the background and the floor, leaving just the skirting board. Than I removed most of the contamination by cloning and the rest I blended in by blurring smudging and painting.The eyes nose and mouth were worked pixel by pixel to retain the original facial structure. Finally I prepared a changed background and pasted the couple to it. This is the result of one weeks work.
