Took 2 pics from the Library of Congress..... turned larger portion of steps into displacement map and saved as .psd......... copied little girl to her own file where I erased edges and did levels adj..... then went Filters> Distort > Displace and selected 5 Horizontal and 5 Vertical and choose the steps.psd..... now the little girl was step shaped.... I merged visable and put this layer on top of picture of man working...... added the usual blank layers set to color and painted in color..... went over the step joints with a color burn layer, blurred and adj. opacity...... that's it.....

Like your choice of colours, and very good integration of the images - great title too.

Thanks Mark........ the only kuddo I've given myself is the fact that I even entered a picture after seeing yours where Pete was showing off his new legs....... that was great !!

Fine work Beth,
Doing a Maggie isn't easy.
I'm busy with women's hats.

Thank you, Matt....... it really wasn't easy for me...... I don't really "get" all of her humor ..... just the play on words part...... then there were the colors...... but it was good to try something different......... women's hats...... I can't wait to see them......
