Here is my whack at a Maggie.
I followed Doug’s lead and looked through the old photos
I found this golfing photo. And another of a young boy.
I studied a few of Maggie’s great images for inspiration.
In one she had two people upside down with their heads in the ground.
That gave me the idea of having a golf ball hit off his head.
I feel guilty being cruel to the boy.
But this lady doesn’t have to look at the ball. She must be a trick shot expert.
Maggie has some unusual animals in her creations.
The bird with the funny legs is from an Audubon painting.
I opened his mouth and popped in a golf ball.
In the original photo this lady was wearing a sensible hat.
But I threw reality out the window when I started this challenge.
I spent a couple of hours sifting through ladies hats of the early 1900s.
There are only so many women’s hats a man can look at.
I chose this one and called it quits.

Very Maggie Matt. Looks suitably odd and natural at the same time. The yellow sky was a great idea too! Not sure that hat would stay on though.

Very surreal! Nicely done. Reminds me of Alice in Wonderland and the strange croquet game using flamingoes for mallets and hedgehogs for balls.

Doug - I was fairly happy with that outrageous and inappropriate hat.
I wanted feathers but this one looks more like overflowing spaghetti.
I had fun here after years of trying to repair photos
and retain a natural appearance.
Margaret - It also reminds me of Alice in Wonderland.
Gee, I had a hard time coming up with ideas for this photo.
I tried to think creatively and my mind went blank.
