Lots of cloning, patching and healing Then some dodging and burning to redefine contours and bring out the eyes a little bit. Drew in some detail on the little boy's hair. Borrowed Santa's right leg to replace missing left leg - copied the whole leg, flipped it and then erased the unnecessary bits. The jeans were a bit of a nightmare. I had a lot of trouble finding enough area to patch from and I'm not really happy with it. Wish I'd used the pen from the start.

Hi Mary,

This is excellent. The skin looks really good, as does the new background and all of the colors. I can see that you put a lot of work into this.

There are some aspects of it that I'm still not happy with but, yes, it did take a lot of work so I'm willing to let it go now.

Mary,
I wrote a message in Dec to everyone who worked on it and then realized maybe people wouldn't see it there.
This picture is so precious to the little boy's mother. Thanks for your beautiful work. And I appreciate your description of your work...helps me learn.
