good example to experiment with FFT to remove regular pattern.
split channels into separate images conv each to rgb and apply FFT to each. - copy red channel to a layer on each use bight/contrast to incease vsisble of bright spots.
concentrating on low frequency. hid red ch copy and adjust layers - flatten image . apply inverse FFT - convert back to grayscale. Did this for each channel.
retrieve original image - replace each channel of orig. image with each FFT modified channel.
Used neat image to remove some of the noise.
If I spent more time could have done a bit more with the FFT. If overdone this technique can significantly change the final colour.
