I did a lot of things. I'm no artist so I wanted to get as much of the detail back without having to draw. I also still wanted it to look like an old photo.

I used various adjustment layers: levels, channel mixer, dust & scratches. Then I used a whole bunch of cloning and healing making sure to add noise back for any lost.

Did a little bit of dodge and burning to enhance what I could see.

When all of that was done I did a few more adjustments to the contrast and levels.
