I thought I would give this on a shot.

Adjusted levels, lots of healing a cloning, cut in new white border, Adjust levels on right edge to correct for blown out portion, add a layer to add color back in.

Well done! I really like the texture in the sweater, and the overall tonality.

Well done Dave, you brought a lot of detail back but I'm still intrigued about the left shoe? did you clone it from the right?
Well done Vicky

Thanks for the comments.

Actually no, I didn't clone this one, as the highlights didn't seem to fit quite right. I gently shaded it back in using what was left of the outline in the original, with a soft brush set at an opacity of about 10%, and layered it up. I always build up any work like that in a new layer, so if I don't like it, I can drop it and start over.

Nice job, one minor coment, hopefully contructive, like me you seem to have a repeat pattern going on in the left bottom corner showing evidence of possible cloing or repeat healing, ive noticed this on my version since looking at yours. Also perhaps a little well choosen burn with a low setting to bring back the right side a little more, using a soft large brush you could add some desinty back to the shadows under the shrubbery. Nice Job, well done.
