This was a tough one. I started with a run through Noiseware on the Film Grain setting to get rid of some of the paper texture. Looked at channels and ended up using the LAB lightness over the red RGB channel. Converted to grayscale. Did a dust and scratches layer and painted out what I could. Cloned and groaned an awful lot. Took out two of the distractions - the hand emerging from Santa's beard and the woman on the far right. Extended the shelves. Cleaned the floor. Stuck a new ear on the kid in the front. I love the expression on his face - it's as if someone handed him something very nasty and he's not sure what to do with it. Finished up with a dodge and burn layer and added some more hair on the two boys in front. The boy in the back ended up with a face like the Pillsbury Doughboy after some of my more violent cloning and airbrushing. I got his original face out of the reference copy and stuck it over his blob face in screen mode at 50%. He still looks rather moonfaced but it's an improvement. Santa's hand looks like a lobster claw and I couldn't improve on that either. All things considered, not one of my better efforts but I learned some new things like don't restore snapshots on textured paper
