I thought I would try this again and see if I could get more realistic lighting and still bring out some of the background. Since I worked on three different versions of this picture, saving the screenshots of the workflow was not practical. I worked in LAB mode for the 1st pass with color, back to RGB for levels tweaking, and some channel manipulations, back to LAB for the final color enhancements. I decided I liked the greenish cast to her dress, which was probably a tan to begin with. I felt it gave a bit more to the picture than plain tan.
