Phew!! This took a lot longer than I thought it would! Well this is my first attempt at restoring a seriously damaged photo, and spending all this time on it gave me a new layer of respect for the art of restoring. All in all I think I spent a good five hours jumping on and off my computer throughout the day. My first move was making a copy of the image on a separate layer. Then I played around with the levels a bit and followed that up by messing with the color balance to remove that 70's brown tint. I then created a new layer and named it the cloning layer so I could have all my cloning on a separate layer. This way I could modify my image in a non destructive way by simply making sure that I'm sampling all my layers with the cloning stamp tool. This is where most of my time was spent I really went to town with the clone stamp tool only because the healing brush was really giving me problems. I'm really proud of the final result for it being my first restoration, but I know it could use a little more work. Well what do you guys/gals think? I'm open to any kind of feed back so don't hold back!

Well done in the cloning area. The only thing I see is maybe a bit to much blue in this. I'm going to give this one a shot now to.
