Duplicate layer. Auto levels. Adjust shadow/highlight. Clone areas of trees and bushes. Drag Layer (Photo) Lupins & Doe taken in Yosemite from personal library, Add layer mask use soft brush black to subtract unwanted areas of imported picture. New Layer Paint sky, add color to trees, ground and river, blur. Trace river with Polygonal feather '33' Edit copy-Edit Paste-Edit free transform to widen river. Merge all layers apart from original (habit) An enormous amount of Dodging & Burning. Duplicate layer (multiple) Blending options 40%, seems to make the darker areas deeper. I'm sure there are a few tweekings left out, I really must keep a log!!!

That's beautiful.
I love the sky you painted in.
It all works well and looks realistic.

Well Good! Your work is very convincing. Even a hint of the blooms in the stream.
