First hit it with a little dust and scratches. Then lots of cloning stamp and healing brush. Used the dodge and burn tools quite a bit as well. Rebuilt the wall with gradient fills, then added film grain/noise, blurred a little, burned in the siding lines and finished it off with various layer masks. Overall, it was quite a challenge thats for sure.

Thanks!! More wonderful ideas as to how to proceed!! I so appreciate the time you and others have been willing to take, and the results!! WOW! I hope someday to restore this anywhere close to the examples so far!!

Very well done Jdub. I like the way you have emphasised the guitar. Im just thinking here though, the man and woman's hair is a tad dark?

Thanks Marine. You wouldn't happen to be at Lejeune would you? I grew up there. J-ville is one crazy town thats for sure.
tooquilos-you are absolutely correct. I'm not real happy with how the background on the right turned out. And its too flat overall. I should have let it sit for a while and "cool off" before uploading it but I was anxious to get my first image posted!
