Well this was interesting, lots and lots of cloning, also did some color adjustment layers and ran it through neat image. I hope I did it justice, I'm still learning.

Outstanding. You seem to have sharpened the faces so they appear more in focus. A great job. By the way, what is the image size limit for uploads?

Just coming back on to the scene ,but this a great restoration, the colours and the sharpness, combined with the actual damage restoration all combine to a pretty quality restoration.
Sorry for the lapse in posts and time. (and lapse in time of posts)
