It's hard to colorize this photo without giving it a painted look because of the honeycomb texture which make the color look caked in the lines like makeup or paint.
I added the color by layering it and changing the blend mode to color. I'm not sure what her hair color was but this color seemed to fit.
I also changed the pupils of her eyes to make them smaller and added another catch light to bring them to life a little more.
