I worked the background and foreground separate for this photo. After duplicating the bkgr layer, I removed all color and blurred it to eliminate imperfections and then added some texture. After masking the car and people I wanted to remain as the main interest, I duplicated that layer, ran a high pass filter and set it to overlay to bring out more detail. I also used a hue/sat adjustment layer with all color removed and set opacity to 90% to allow just a little of the original color to show through. There was also plenty of cloning, healing and dust/scratch removal going on throughout the process.
This is my first post and it was so much fun I'm sure I'll be doing more!
