"The two boys on the left are very good friends of mine. The girls are their sisters. On the day of their youngest sisters christening. I've actually no idea what the circumstances were that led to "ticking" and "x-ing" of the faces. the original was in a pretty bad way from being balled up."
Challenge: Restore this photo. Description mandatory
Do your best to restore "Couch Kids", and post the results here using the following guidelines:
- Make sure you're using the largest version of the Challenge photo
- Enter your name in "Enter a title for the photo"
- Enter the Challenge type and number in "Descriptive Keywords" (ie: "Photo-Art Challenge #501" or "Manipulation Challenge #132"
- Include a complete description of the steps you used under "Photo Description". (You might want to write it elsewhere and paste it here)
- Attach your file as an 800 pixel wide JPG file, compressed so that the overall file is under 200k (this usually means 60% compression).
- Make sure you post to the correct Challenge
- If you expect any comments for your entry, offer your comments to other entries

Coylers - Restoration Challenge #102
I concentrated on the facial features because of work commitments and time. I didn't stray too much away from cloning, blurring and healing. I found the healing tool to be my best friend in a picture like this. Since I am relatively new to the whole thing, I was hoping to see what anybody else could manage.
Problem areas were obviously with the damage to the faces of boy on left and girl on right. It was my first time really constructing facial features with such detail and I was glad to hear off my mate that if he didn't know any better, the picture was never damaged :P
