Autocolored photo I also tried DJ;s tut that Jak posted about...http://www.retouchpro.com/forums/sho...light=backdrop cloned scan line out Airbrushed the face a bit--added some pink to cheeks and lips dodged around eyes and lips a bit blurred some of face applied unsharp mask to girl and dog created oval vignette with and feathered edges and filled with some of the pink I chose for the background. Selected mask of girl and dog selected image and expanded selection by 13 and applied gausian blur so I was able to get a overall blur on edges of girl and dog to fit into frame better. I think that is it... This was fun. Haven't had any practice in turning photo into portrait. And loved the new "tutorial" I had never seen before.

Very nice, it's close to what I had in mind when I started this challenge, then as most times I went askew off in another direction

Nice touch with the background color wrapping around the edges to form a vignette.

Lovely rendition -- puppy, pre-teen girl and pink! Good clean up and a lovely vignette effect.

I love the background it really brings out the girl's face and eyes.
