didn't want to do too much to it. just reduced noise, (yes i know it isn't a photograph but that is what it looked like) and fixed the colors and tones as i though best suited the feel of the piece.

You should start with the CHALLANGE PHOTO. By the way it is a photograph, the challenge was to turn it into a painting.
____________
Challenge: Turn this flute player into a Maxfield Parrish painting
Post the results here using the following guidelines:
Make sure you're using the largest version of the Challenge photo
____________
You should also check out MAX PARRISH's work, before you enter this challenge.

BY the way, i just noticed that the original IS the blue and white, which i had originally though was someone's shitty edited version where they just applied a cross processing filter. so apparently i missed it. but seriously, give me a break. it's not like i go around copying peoples' work-- please. i'm better than that.
have a nice day.

I assumed that you were new. I didn't yell or use foul language.
You still need to redo the work and repost.
You can EDIT you post. This way you can always correct your mistakes.
This is of course only true as long as the topic remains active. In contest they close on the due date.
