Firstly, I clone stamp and healing brush all the damaged areas. I used smart sharpen to bring out more detail, then use the blur and smudge tools to blend the spotty areas of the face and smooth out the grainy texture on the leather jacket and silk band on the hat. I found the bg pic on-line, photo filtered it to match the sepia tone I put on the subject, then used gaussian blurr to give more depth of feild. Then I just keep tweaking until I think it's acceptible. All constructive comments welcomed.
