A four year old challenge? Hey, why not. ;-)
This retouch involved a levels adjustment and application of "foundation" (paintbrush at low opacity set to Color), to even her skin tone and match face to neck. I also copied her eyebrows to a separate layer, raised them a few pixels and thinned them using the Clone stamp. Using an eyelash-shaped brush and the Warp tool to shape it, I added more definition to her eyes. Undereye circles were removed with the Clone stamp, with the edges of the change softened as needed using the Blur tool. The face seemed a little "flat" after all this, so I also used the Dodge and Burn tools on a 50% grey layer set to Soft Light, to emphasize shadows and highlights as needed.
I added a sheer wash of peach-toned eyeshadow using the paintbrush set to Color, also using a lighter brown color with the brush set to "Lighten" to soften her eyeliner a bit. I used the Clone, Liquify and Smudge tools to copy and/or move pieces of her hair to where I needed them. This method was also used to straighten the neckline of her shirt a bit. The finishing touch was to replace the walls with a background texture, which is part of a photo I took myself.
I think that's it!
