I am sorry that I cannot give a detailed guide of what I did.
I wasn't sure what I was doing! :P
I used Burn/Dodge, Apply Image, Shadow/Highlight, and Layer Blending many times.
I also inverted once.
The trees became intense purple, and inverted became the bright green.
The milk river is due to extreme dodging.
