After duplicating the base layer and doing a lot of spot healing and cloning I decided that the damage to the feet was severe enough to paste in the feet of my grandchild to get the detail that was needed.
Using adjustment layers of hue/saturation, levels and color balance I got the general look I wanted.
I then merged all layers and fined tuned the body, eyes, hair and added one more adjustment layer of color balance to get a bluer blue in the sky. Of which I then added a layer mask and removed areas for skin tone.
