I pretty much recreated the siding in the background by cloning a large enough area to copy onto duplicate layer and used pattern maker. I put inverted mask on pattern layer and painted white where I wanted siding. (A quick way to get rid of extra person) For the shadows of siding I drew lines and stroked them with a darker color that I picked from original, then used gaussian blur, set layer to multiply and reduced opacity. Used cloning, healing, dodge and burn for the Mr and Mrs. After I was done, I thought the background was too distracting, so I duplicated my composite layer and masked the people, while lowering the opacity of the underlying layer.
