- copy-pasted original in 'wrong' colorspade AdobeRGB to up any reds that might be left in the picture.
- took the image to 16 bit Lab-mode for the rest of the editing
- color correction using curves layer
- contrast enhancement using curves layer
- little red added to the yellow parts by using photo-filter layer, and excluded the blues using layer-blend mode
- gradient layer from transparent (bottom) to blue (top) in color mode to get rid of purple coloration in the light parts of the water
- turned the original into smart object, and did a surface blur with minimal settings on it to get rid of some noise.
- little high-pass sharpening.
That ends the editing fase, everything else is pre-publishing.
