Hello..I thought I would retain some of the texture of the photo so as not to make it look too overworked. I kind of liked the unusual impressionistic texture that some of the damaged photo offered. I first used a lot of Healing and Content aware fill along with a lot of cloning. Working a tiny bit at a time I was able to bring back some of the original image. I tried to maintain the texture of the original photo without making it look like I replaced any imagery.
This photo was basically hopelessly damaged but nonetheless a definite challenge and good practice to work on! Cheers!
