When you live in the country, you never know what you may stumble across. . .

Found a picture I took of a lonesome tree nearby in a field, thought about how this could be my Rottweilers dream come true, if I added some incentive.

Obviously I used free transform a few times. I kept the mood somewhat dark to give the feeling of dusk or dawn. I used a classical blur for the background, and softened the clouds a little with a soft blur. I lightened the center to keep the tree the center of attention.
At this point I lost count of what I did. It was a matter of hit or miss . . .but it was fun.

Good idea and very well executed. I especially like the way you have laid the skulls on the ground realistically, turned every which way, in a path leading to the viewer--good composition there!

It's got a dream quality to it that is totally cool. Love it. These manipulation challenges are definately my favorites.

Dream quality is right! I love this...especially the placement of the skulls on the ground.

A cup of Beauty mixed with a jigger of horror -- good recipe, well prepared.

Thanks all for the comments. Like you DJ, I find these type of challenges to be fun as well (to view others submissions, and to participate in). Seems to work the brains right hemisphere. The many interesting entrys to this challenge do show . . . there's a little Stephen king hidden in all of us, just "dying" to get out.

Wow. Very creative interpretation. The misty effect really adds to the overall feel of the picture.

Outstanding. I'd hang that in my livingroom. No, actually I wouldn't. But it's awesome!
