Like Sophia the good witch, Sophia the demon was done mostly with PS7's liquid filter. Used a variety of distortion tools from its menu, but it was the filter's turbulence tool that turned the hair into realistic fire shapes. Beginning with a b/w picture, colors were added with gradients on new layers set to color mode. To enhance the smooth gaseous look, I used the anisotropic diffuse filter to remove remaining fine textures, then sharpened to re-emphasize the main lines. Phyllis

I don't know which one I like better. Boy when you do a make over you really do a make over.

The first time I pulled this up, my son was in the room - he is 4 - it scared him! I don't think he has been traumatized! Ha. Good Job!

Poor Aunt Sophia. I guess everyone has an evil twin. Looks like you are having a lot of fun with filters and achieving such great results. I must experiment with filters more. Great job!
