| errors for Sketch and Artwork I have standalone licenses for both Sketch and Artwork. They are installed on a PC under Windows XP Pro SP2. When I launch either one of the programs, they produce a "artwork.exe has encountered an error and needs to close" message. If I just ignore the message, the full applications load correctly and can be used OK. Does anyone have any similar experience or guesses as to what's happening. BTW - the plug-in versions of both programs load and execute just fine. John |

| Re: errors for Sketch and Artwork It can be a protection conflict with other programs. Please quit (temporary!) your firewall or anti-virus program and test AKVIS programs. If it helps, please let us know which your program conflicts with our software! best regards, Kat |

| Re: errors for Sketch and Artwork Kat, ... sad to say, but disconnecting from the Internet and closing down the Norton (latest edition) firewall, AV and associated safety stuff made no difference to the performance of the two Akvis applications. best, John |

| Re: errors for Sketch and Artwork Hi John! We have just released an update of Sketch. Could you please test if it works without the problem. Please use this version: "exe" file in zip archive. Unzip, run "Sketch.exe". If you get the error, please find the log files in the folder AKVIS in Users Shared Documents - "AKVIS.log" and "crash.dmp". And send to us please - support@akvis.com If the version works, you can download version 8.5 (not logged) from our web-site and use it. Please write to me!
