ArtWork 3.0 [new]: Paintings, Drawings from Photos The version offers three painting styles - Oil Painting, Comics and Pen & Ink. New to V.3.0: - The new Pen & Ink style creates drawings that appear to be made with ink on paper. The ink color can be selected, as well as the color of the background. - The Comics style has been remade to achieve better results. Use the program to make a comic strip from your party photos or to create a poster. - New ready-to-use presets have been added to the Oil style. - New interface design will make your work more comfortable. - New options in the Preferences field: Restore last style and preset and Initial Scale. - Added the possibility to import/export a list of presets. Registered users can upgrade to version 3.0 for free. Download: http://akvis.com/en/artwork/download...ng-effects.php --- It would be useful to get your feedback about new features! Kat

Re: ArtWork 3.0 [new]: Paintings, Drawings from Ph Please confirm the following: If one already has a previous version instaled, to "try" 3.0 : * Install the 3.0 update "over the top of" AW 1.0 or 2.0. * There is no need to uninstall the previous version. Is that correct? - - - - - - - - If satisfied with 3.0, engage in the update process (additional cost). If one is not satisfied with 3.0, uninstall 3. ArtWorks 1.0 (or 2.0) will again be available as before with no loss of presets.

Re: ArtWork 3.0 [new]: Paintings, Drawings from Ph Hi Danny! Yes, you can install version 3.0 over the old version. If you like the new version, you can use it without additional payment. Upgrade to version 3.0 is free for owners of registered program. I'm not sure that if you return to the old version you won't lose the presets. I think that's so for the Oil effect but not sure about Comics. To be on the safe side you can export the old presets from the Registry (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\AKVIS\ArtWork - right click and select Export). It's only the way for old version (versions 1-2 did not offer the Export command). Since version 3 you can import-export the presets in the program using its special buttons. Kat
