Nucleus Imaging, a High End Manhattan post production shop, has a position available for a Senior Lead Retoucher NOW!
Requirements:
*A minimum of 5 years experience working in a high level environment doing fashion, beauty and cosmetics retouching for Commercial and Editorial clients. Have you come out of a high end production environment? Do you understand what a fashion picture should look like? Can you shape clothes without destroying their details? Can you clean skin but preserve its texture and keep it feeling real?
*COLOR COLOR COLOR! EXTREMELY strong color skills a must! In depth RGB/CMYK experience is critical--you must be proficient in both color spaces, understand conversions, and have better than a fundamental understanding of an ICC workflow. You must be ROCK SOLID in 4C!
*Experience matching color to client supplied originals a must.
*Can you lead a team? Can you solve the problem that a less experienced retoucher brings you? If so, we should talk.
This is a top dollar position for the very best, most experienced and productive out there. We work for some of the most demanding photographers and advertising clients in New York. This is not a position for the inexperienced or intermediate level retoucher!
