CJ Swartz 03-28-2005, 11:55 PM Such a lovely place to be on a sunny day! I just used Color Range to separate out the sky and ran halftones-then Fragment and Ocean Ripple on it. Took a Color Range of the sand/plants and similar range and copied to own layer set to Screen layer mode. Added texture layer and erased to taste. kiska 03-29-2005, 06:33 AM I desat, dodge/burn, oversharpened, aniso. Masks, blends, opacities. TylerRB 03-29-2005, 10:08 AM Neve - Thanks for the pic to work on. Keep 'em comin'! CJ and Kiska - I like both of your renditions. Always a pleasure to see either of your work. T TylerRB 03-29-2005, 11:26 AM After the last two, I decided to NOT go the path of the artistic. This is mainly done using various curve, level, and selective color adjustment layers, while masking in parts. Mainly, I kept the sky and land areas seperate in the adjustments. I used a little background Gaussian blur to make the trawler pop just slightly. I cropped it, because I didn't like the sky taking over half the composition.
