Merge layers. raniday 04-05-2005, 08:27 AM Such a beautiful rose and gorgeous renditions. Not sure what all I did, but I was aiming for a w/c effect, and it involved lots of layers, Art History brushes and crystalize. TylerRB 04-05-2005, 01:14 PM Raniday I think you achieved your desired effect. Looks pretty watercolor to me. Nice job! T raniday 04-05-2005, 04:18 PM Thanx, TylerRB! :) Neve 04-05-2005, 05:10 PM Very nice Raniday, it looks like Pen and Ink also. SWEngineer 04-09-2005, 10:57 AM Cutting the chatter to add a picture... The base for this one was another Impressionist-Crayon:Short/Choppy + Elements2 Dry Brush. I tossed in a PaintEng:TempD layer for good measure. Then did lots of work on refining the tones (in Elements) and the texture (in Painter8). The background came out rather abstract which I think complements the rose nicely. Followup -- Playing a bit more, I discovered an interesting look using the SurfaceControl:QuickWarp:Sphere option. Posted as the 2nd picture. -Mark jaykita 04-22-2005, 06:18 AM Painter with Photoshop waterc layer, low opac. Cloned in painter using a couple of filters (buzz for one) and blends. Neve 04-22-2005, 05:25 PM Excellent result Judy! |
