Can anyone point me in the right direction of the above? I have a 19" monitor and the room has many windows making glare impossible to avoid. I'd really like to find a hood so I can see what I'm retouching!!
Thanks,
Coj

Perhaps you could make one out of industrial velcro and black matte board?

Hi Coj
Doug's suggestion is exactly what I did about three months ago. It works a treat.
I used some thick black matte cardboard 1 metre X 1 metre and scored the back where I wanted corners and ran sticky-backed velcro down the sides and tops of the monitor and the same on the cardboard.
Now I just have to figure out how to stop my cat from standing in front of the monitor for long periods when he feels he is being ignored
Oh yeah! The price was perfect.

which is corrogated plastic, you can also get this from art stores or screen printers. It is available in a matt black finish and can be easily bent around ANY size monitor.
